    Held in July of 2015, the UMG Dallas ran for a prize pool of $40,000.

    From July 9th to July 11th of 2015, the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, Texas was the location where the UMG Dallas 2015 took place. For all the fans of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare video game, this event was perhaps the biggest event of the year. Fans from all over the world came together in Dallas in order to support their favorite professional video gaming teams. The prize pool for this tournament was 40,000 dollars.

    Format

    128 teams have started the competition in Open Bracket with the winners advancing to the Winners Bracket and those matches were played on best-of-3 games. The best 4 teams from the Winners Bracket qualified for the Pool Play while the losers continued their competition in the Losers Bracket. The defeat in the Losers Bracket meant immediate elimination from the tournament. The four teams that remained from the Losers Bracket advanced to the Championship Losers Bracket.

    The Pool Play of the tournament saw 20 teams divided into four Pools. Among those 20 teams were 8 best teams from the Advanced Warfare Pro Points, 8 best teams that qualified from May 30th to July 6th and 4 teams from the Winners Open Bracket. The matches in this part of the tournament are played on best-of-5 games and the two best teams from each pool advanced to the Winners Bracket and the bottom 3 teams were placed in the Losers Brackets. Even though the format of the competition may seem a bit complicated, the fans were very excited with the games and it seemed that they do not have any problems with that kind of competition format.
