Call of Duty MLG Orlando featured the competition from the Call of Duty World League and it was presented by PlayStation4 Pro Division. Besides the prize pool, the teams were competing also for the Call Of Duty World League points. The restrictions imposed by the organization team said that the participants at this competition must be 18 years old or older.
The event was organized at The Loews Royal Pacific at Universal Studios in Orlando and was held from August 5 to August 7 of 2016. The event will feature 96 amateur teams for the prize pool of $100,000. They types of competition that the teams were competing at this competition were Open Bracket, Pool Play, Double Elimination Championship Bracket and Double Elimination. The fans who were unable to attend this competition had the opportunity to watch the matches through the live streaming provided by the organization.
Besides the competition of 96 amateur teams, this competition also featured the competition of 12 North American Call of Duty World League teams. Those teams were Rise Nation, OpTic Gaming, Hundred Thieves, Cloud9, H2k-Gaming, FaZe Clan, Team EnVyUs, compLexity Gaming, Luminosity Gaming, Team SoloMid, Dream Team and Team eLevate. These teams faced each other in Call of Duty: Black Ops III competition.
