The Round One Matches for the Esports Balkan League Unveiled

    One of the most anticipated Counter Strike Global Offensive competitions for the Balkan players is about to start. The Esports Balkan League will bring together eight of the best local teams and we already have the official match ups for the first round. The tournament starts today and Binary Dragons will play in the opening match against Volgare, while their countrymen Squared take on Mortal Kombat. The Serbians have a strong lineup with three of the five teams coming from this country.

    A €120,000 Prize Pool for Esports Balkan League

    The best chance from Romanian Counter Strike Global Offensive fans comes from Nexus, as their favorites take on Kilktech. This match is scheduled for Thursday, and it will be followed at a short distance by the fixture between Resistance and Ex-Outlaws. The Esports Balkan League is one of the largest eSports competitions in Europe and by far the most important tournament in the Balkan region.

    There’s a lot of money on the table for Counter Strike Global Offensive, with the competition having a guaranteed prize pool of €120,000. Over the course of one week some of the best teams from the region will compete for the tempting amount. On this occasion, they were directly invited by the organizers, yet this will change as soon as Season 2 begins. All interested participants will have a shot at securing a place in this competition in the next season, since admission will be granted by open qualifiers.
