HeroesHearth has been a dominant force in the Heroes of the Storm arena and a constant presence in the final stages of major competitions. In the sixth edition of the North American Open Division Cup they had a difficult path to the top, but they made the most of each opportunity. In the semifinal against Team Numerics they had to overcome a lot of adversity to emerge victorious and set the stage for an epic confrontation with Donkeys R Us.

The Beginning of a New Heroes of the Storm Rivalry

Donkeys R Us have emerged as a strong contender for the trophy after their impressive performance in the semifinals against Imported Support. Their opponents have just one important tournament and were credited the first chance to win the 6th Open Division Cup. In the final act of the competition, Heroes Hearth took an early lead but was unable to build on it and the game could’ve gone either way. They found away to defend the narrow advantage and claimed the first game by a whisker.

In the second match, Donkeys R Us scored more kills but that proved to be useless in the end with both teams finishing at level 19. Two games down, they were under a lot of pressure and were unable to maintain their composure and bowed out graciously out of the competition. With this victory, Heroes Hearth has cemented its position at the top of the leaderboard with less than a month before the playoffs.
