Blizzard Entertainment is now ready to open its brand-new arena in California, one that will host the main event for some of its flagship titles. Blizzard Arena Los Angeles is located in Southern California and it will act as the main venue for all sorts of eSports events in 2018. As early as this autumn it will host some major tournaments, such as the Overwatch Contenders playoffs and Hearthstone Summer Championship. The inaugural season of the highly anticipated Overwatch League will also take place entirely here.

A Hotspot for North American eSports Events

The Burbank, California venue has tremendous potential and was constructed to accommodate all the important competitions. It has the necessary amenities to act as a gracious host for this event and the fans already love. A Blizzard store will also open and the premises and both players and fans will be able to purchase goods and branded merchandise here. Other major videogame developers have already opened important venues for their competitions, with Riot being a shining example of success.

Plenty of tournaments are scheduled for 2018, but the fans don’t have to wait that long because the first really significant event will take place in October. Overwatch Contenders and Hearthstone Summer Championship will highlight the quality of the venue and established it as one of the top eSports destinations in the world. For North American players, this is likely to be the home away from home when participating in major qualifiers for international tournaments or compete for glory on US soil.
