Battlefield 4
Battlefield 4 offers better graphics, an immersive soundtrack and the same strong gameplay that Battlefield fans grew to love.

Another title from the amazing Battlefield series, Battlefield 3 was released in October 2013 and is available for PC, PS 3/4 and Xbox 360/1. The Battlefield series has been known for the amazing multiplayer experience it offers and Battlefield 4 expanded further on the already amazing multiplayer of the Battlefield games. While multiplayer is fantastic, the single player experience is somewhat poor and almost not worth the trouble.

    Single Player Campaign

Single player has never been the strong suite for Battlefield games and Battlefield 4 is no exception to this rule. Featuring clichéd storyline, poorly written characters and very few actual choices, the single  player campaign is a one way street from start to finish.

The lack of choices and actual involvement in how the story finishes is somewhat compensated by the beautiful graphics and amazing landscapes, but the campaign does not make use of even a small portion of what the game has to offer, with vehicles significantly underused and soldier gameplay choices extremely limited.

    Multiplayer Gameplay

Multiplayer is where Battlefield 4 truly shines. With 10  expansive maps and nearly unlimited plethora of weapons, upgrades and vehicle choices, the players are in for weeks and months of entertaining gameplay, with more upgrades and options always available for unlocking.

The vast maps can take multiple playthroughs to even see in their entirety and the 64 player combat characteristic to Battlefield makes the multiplayer immensely engaging and immersive. With such an amazing number of choices, players can jump into the action as one of four different classes or man various vehicles in their effort to destroy the opposing team.

EA DICE exceeded expectations with Battlefield 3. The graphics, audio and multiplayer gameplay are absolutely astounding and the poor single player campaign is only a minor setback in an otherwise perfectly executed project that was Battlefield 3. As a multiplayer game Battlefield 3 is at the absolute top of the industry and there is no doubt the Battlefield series is one that will continue to impress for years to come.
