Gfinity offers competitions on different consoles such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PC. A wide array of competitions are offered on popular games like Call of Duty, CS:GO, Rocket League, FIFA and more.

Gfinity is a gaming platform founded and launched in 2013, with a cause to improve eSports and the overall gaming scene in the United Kingdom and Europe. It was formed by gamers with an idea to provide a place and a time for gamers and teams to showcase their skills.

The company has a long-standing goal to deliver events and competitions which will encourage a more professional level of gameplay in major gaming titles. The company has acquired Warped Gaming League as part of their ambition to create an aspiring and vast Xbox Live online league. The platform thus expanded and offered both Xbox and PC titles, creating a well-rounded service.

The idea behind the story was to bring together players of various proficiency levels and allow them to compete in a healthy and relaxed but competitive environment with regularly organized tournaments and motivating prizes.

    Gfinity Consoles and Games

The platform offers competition on different consoles including PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PC. There are Cups and League Ladders for Call of Duty Black Ops III, Infinite Warfare, and FIFA 17 on both PS 4 and Xbox One, while Counter-Strike, HearthStone: Heroes of Warcraft and League of Legends are in offer for PC Players, with many other games in offer as well.

    Gfinity Tournament and Game Formats

As said, Gfinity was created to help provide a more competitive and fun challenge to the UK and Europe’s best players and support the development of the eSports in the United Kingdom. The Gfinity arena is the place where players will come together with live coverage watched by thousands of viewers online.

Each online and live tournament and competition will have predetermined terms, such as minimum and maximum number of players, which are easily accessible through the site.

    Interface and Features

Gfinity offers a very good-looking and user-friendly site, with simple user interface. The site is easily navigated through different tabs and one, main dropdown menu. You can get everywhere you’d like with one or two clicks!

The site is thus very appealing to both professional players seeking challenges and beginner players wanting to check out some of the major eSports events. The site offers a couple of main sections including News, Events and Watch section with live streams.

The right-hand box on the home page will provide an overview of the upcoming tournaments, details and the signup links for them all, while you will also be able to check out the overviews and videos of some of the major recent matches, largely commanded with Counter-Strike Global Offensive highlights. Gfinity also has great social network communities and has very active Twitter and Facebook account so if you’d like to join the fun it’s definitely worth checking them out too.

    News and Reviews

Gfinity holds a great News section with all major event coverage and game reviews up to date. The descriptions are very detailed and the content is updated almost daily, which provides a great insight to gamers and is the backbone to the Gfinity community.

The Watch section will allow Live coverage to all the Gfinity tournaments and offers Live tournament info on all fixtures, results and brackets as well as team and player info. The Live chat option also builds on the social aspect of the platform and provides a great experience while watching the matches on site.

While there are not too many issues with the site and tournaments, the support is easily accessible and usually very quick to react. You can contacted them by using the Menu button on top of the page, clicking the Support link, and simply creating a Support Ticket with the Subject and as much as information on the issue as possible. This will avoid further ambiguities and help get the problem solved as quickly as possible too.

    The Membership/Subscription

While making an account with Gfinity is very simple and free, you can buy monthly and yearly subscriptions which will get you specific traits. You can acquire both subscription types through the main menu by clicking the subscription in the dropdown, completing the checkout form and clicking the Place Order button.

The paid subscriptions will provide access to Gfinity Leagues of all levels as well as enable reminders for matches so not to miss and forfeit any of them. It also enables advanced matchmaking systems where you will be able to play the matches with similarly leveled players, as well as 24-hour payments to your Wallet and much quicker withdrawal times.

    Getting Started With Gfinity

It’s just a couple of clicks in the easy process of registering an account with Gfinity. After you click the Join Us button in the top right corner of the site, you fill out the required info in the pop-up window and verify your e-mail to get started.

You can register a team by clicking the Create a Team button and completing the necessary info, including the background and the logo, inviting other team members to join, and assigning the sponsors. This makes you captain of the team, and you will be able to join leagues, ladders or tournaments via their respective pages.

You can definitely tell when a gaming platform has the experience and resources to run its business as intended. I have plenty of friends from the United Kingdom who regard Gfinity as one of the best places to showcase their eSports skills. Support is amazing and action never runs out if you are in the market for the most exciting Xbox and PC titles. I’ve had a lot of fun with first-person shooters and more recently I discovered the thrills of HearthStone: Heroes of Warcraft competitions. Thumbs up for a great product!

It's easy to say that Gfinity is at the top of the eSports scene in Europe, and everyone knows that they can't be dethroned. Gfinity runs daily cups (tournaments) and has free-to-play ladders for the everyday average gamer. The only downside is that the amount of games they have available is very limited.

Gfinity platform is pretty decent but they don't have any of the games I like...so if you're into COD you'll be ok with it...
